Sports Achievements

Sports Achievements 2019-20

PRFS gives equal opportunity to the students to prove themselves in the field of education as well as in games and sports. In the 2019-20 session of the school the students have performed very well in different competitions in different level (Inter House, Inter school and state level) under the guidance of well qualified coaches.

  • This year we organized (Mahesh Bhupathi Tennis Academies) Tennis workshop for our students. The purpose of organizing this camp was to gauge the interest level of our students towards tennis. Students will have an opportunity to practice and participate in high levels of moderate to vigorous tennis physical and mental fitness as well as tennis skills. Total 100 students participated in this workshop. It was conducted from 10th October to 16 October 2019.

CBSE East Zone Table Tennis Competition

  • This year our school participated in CBSE East Zone Table Tennis Competition. 400 participant from 59 schools participated in this competition. Our school 09 students took part in different age category (Under-14, 17 and 19 Boys) held at Doon Public School, Hatharsa form 21 to 24 October 2019.In Team event our school boys reached in quarter finals in under 14, 17 and 19.

    In Individual championship AgamLamba of class 11 commerce Bagged Bronze models.

  • Our school 29 (15 Boys and 14 Girls)athletic team took part in different age category (Under-14, 17 and 19 Boys) in CBSE cluster Athletic Meet held at Suditi Global Academy, Etawah form 02 to 06 October 2019. About 1200 participant from 94 schools of 39 district participated. In Team event our school boys and girls reached in finals in under 14, 17 and 19.

    In High Jump event Gourang Garg of class 10 secured Bronze medals.

  • Inter School district Chess competition was organized by Ramanlal Shorawala School on 2 September 2019.15 Boys and Girls of our school participated in different age category.

    In individual events Aditya chaturvedi of class 10 got silver medal and Rudraksh Gupta of class 5 got gold medal.

SWIMMING

  • Inter School swimming competition was organized by Ramanlal Shorawala School on 2 august 2019.25 Boys and Girls swimmer of our school participated in different age category.

    They secured 2nd position in Boys and Girls category.
    In individual events-

    03 Gold
    07 silvers
    05 bronze

Inter School Swimming Championship

  • This year our school organized first inter school swimming championship on 08 September 2019. about 100 swimmers from 10 schools participated in different age category.
  • The programme began with the welcome ceremony of the chief guests, Mr. Surendra pal bamniya, District sports officer. Mr. R.K. Sharma Estate Manager welcomed the chief guests with bouquets. A melodious welcome song was rendered by the school choir. The swimming competition was inaugurated by releasing balloons and beautifully decorated placard bearing the School’s name and motto by the Chief Guests, Guests of Honour, and the Principal.
  • The competition started with the individual races of backstroke, breast stroke, front crawl and 2 x freestyle.
  • The boys and girls all gave a fantastic performance, with many reaching the finals! Once the individual races were over, it moved over to the team relays of 4 x 1 relay, mixed medley relay and 4 x 2 freestyle mixed relay.
  • Over all championship
    Our school -In boy’s category 1st Position and in girl’s category 2nd position. In individual swimming event 09-Gold

Annual Sports Day

The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Saturday 23rd February 2019, with great zeal, excitement atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Mr. K.B.Jad’s welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child’s life. The Principal also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band.

The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Sports captain. An energizing equestrian display set the tone for the rest of the event. The students displayed a lejhem display mesmerising the audience with their energetic performances. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Students of classes LKG to 11 competed in events including sprints, relays, sack race, and obstacle race and skipping race. Fun time with a staff relay between the houses added to the enjoyment.

The Best march past trophy and the overall champion trophy was awarded to the Saraswati house.
