FREEDOM CUP – 2019

Freedom Cup is a mega event held by the school annually. This event is usually hosted around 15th August, to commemorate our country’s independence and democracy.This year, the Freedom Cup was held on 11th August. Burning issues of the day were picked as the topic for the Inter – School Debate Competition this year too. The debate was chaired and adjudged by renowned educators of various schools and colleges of Mathura. Nine schools of Mathura participated in this year’s competition. In the Junior category, Kanha Makhan Public School bagged the Winners’ trophy,while our school laid claim on the Runners’ – uptrophy, with the competitors being, Vanya Tentiwala and Devita Dubey . In the Senior category, Kanha Makhan Public School bagged the Winners’ trophy while our school bagged the Runners’ – up trophy. Dhara Singh from our school and Priyanshi Agrawal from KMPS, shared best speaker trophy in the event. The competition was well attended by all the student representatives of all the participating schools.

BRAJ HERITAGE FEST

JULY 23 – AUG 17 2019

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, organized Braj Heritage Fest 2019. It saw a stupendous success with a grand number of over 50000 participants from more than 120 schools of Braj. We were one of the proud hosts of a few events of the grandest inter – school cultural extravaganza in Braj, like – Story Telling Competition , Krishna Rhymes Recitation , Elocution and Music competition.Our students participated in the festival with great zeal and enthusiasm and won about 35 awards in various events, the events being ,
Solo Classical Dance -3 prizes ; Group Classical Dance –1 prize; Story Telling – 5 prizes ; Folk Dance – consolation prize ; Colouring – 2 prizes ; Painting – 2 prizes ; Classical Music (solo) – 1 prize ; Elocution – 3 prizes ; Krishna Rhymes – 1 prize and Movie Devotional (solo) -5 prizes.

KATHA UTSAV 2019

Search for excellence in Creative Writing

The Katha National Writer’s Workshop is one of India’s biggest young writer’s conclave. The Utsav takes great pleasure in welcoming children from all corners of India and the world and mentoring them into fields of literary and artistic forms of expression. Seven of our students qualified to attend the North Zone, Regional and National Level Workshop of the Utsav, namely – Gayatri. A. Gundad and Navya Rathi (class band VII – IX : Poetry ) ; Radhika Agrawal and Jahnava Sachdeva (class band – VII -IX : Fiction ) and Vanya Tentiwala , Natasha Sharma and Nishtha Dubey (class band X – XII : Poetry )Through intense ,fun -filled and engaging two -day workshop between 5-6 November 2019 ,at the Regional Level , these children were mentored in literary skills , expressions discovery and ECTC.
